AJ is a physiotherapist with a special interest in orthopedic, sports injuries, and neurological rehab. He got his degree in Physiotherapy in 2009 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and worked in Mumbai, India for 3 years before moving to Canada in 2012. Having worked in different clinical and sports rehab settings he brings with him clinical, administrative, managerial, and entrepreneurial experiences in running a successful rehab clinic.
He has completed additional courses in spinal manipulation, myofascial release techniques, several manual therapy techniques, dry needling, shockwave therapy, Kinesio-taping, LASER to name a few.
His initial examination consists of history taking and movement-based assessment based on which he decides the line of treatment. He firmly believes in empowering his patients with the knowledge of what's causing their pain and how they can fix it- this is something that he is extremely proud of.
Since he graduated in 2009 AJ has transitioned from a clinician physiotherapist to being a clinic manager and now owning rehab clinics. Of which he loves being a clinician the most.
Outside work, you will find him outdoors hiking, running or binge-watching shows with his wife more often than he would like to admit.
He is always a phone call or an email away. Feel free to get in touch with him with any queries that you may have at firstname.lastname@example.org.
